Confirmed the two series: Italian Championship and International Series
First start on April 20th on Vallelunga circuit, nine meetings to tackle in Italy, Spain and Germany but, above all, links absolutely impressive: this is the 2008 SUPERSTARS path.
FGSPORT championship calendar, in the wake of what already set during last season, aims at two series, treating participants to absolutely impressive links with DTM, Fia GT, GT Open and Beru Top 10, as well as other events within AciSport weekends.
Eight of the nine meetings will be valid for Superstars Italian Championship title (with a possible increase to all nine of them), while five races will award International Superstars Series title.
The season start will take place, as we said, in Vallelunga on April 20th , within an ACISport weekend, which will see on track also GT Open and F3000.
It will be a meeting which, as the following two, will award points both for Italian Championship and International Series.
The following two matches will be two special opportunities for Superstars teams and drivers: as a matter of fact on May 4th the series will come to Mugello circuit in Tuscany, joined with DTM Italian meeting, while on May 18th it will move to Monza circuit at the same time of FIA GT.
Magione, on May 8th, will be again an ACISport meeting: on this occasion a race valid only for Italian Championship, while the following meeting, first transfer abroad in Spain on Valencia track, will award points for both series.
The return in Italy will take place with Varano race, on August 31st, to which will follow Misano on September 14th and Adria on September 29th, all races valid only for Italian Championship, while the end of the season event, even if this is the only round to be confirmed, should take place in Oschersleben, on October 12th, within a Beru Top 10 event.
Race confirmation, expected in a short time, will also state if this meeting, besides awarding points for international series, will be valid for the Italian Championship too.
A possible change, also if track should be confirmed, will take place in July.
